Remember when Dr. Dre dropped the Chronic? No one in music thought anyone would be able to come close to such genius in the West Coast. But we might have someone who could help us relive it.

Petah Parka's Mary Jane, might be the closest we'll get to the Chronic in a very long time. Considering that Parka is actually from a neighboring area to Compton (Watts) and word from reliable sources claim that Parka's father mentored Dre when he was first DJing at neighborhood cookouts, there would be no questions weather those skills were passed down in the long run.

The Towers is the first of many other tracks that I will be releasing as a part of a Instrumental Based Album: Mary Jane the Album. The interesting thing about this album is that, it will have no lyrics to it, mainly because that is the objective; to allow the instruments to tell the story. I've always kept in mind how many well acclaimed artists and producers would say how the younger generation of music doesn't rely on their mentors so have no musical guidance. So I've put this piece together to prove that some proteges still exist. But in short, The Towers (you can guess what towers...) is the whole album in 6 minutes. If you can understand that track within those 6 minutes, you could handle the rest of the album...

Cafe'- West Coast Vol. 2 is personally one of my favorite projects that I've worked on so far. If you know me and how I usually work, it doesn't take me a year for one project, but I had to do this one right. Smooth, Sexy, Chill, and Pause are few of many words that perfectly describes this album. Cafe' West Coast is all about kickn' back and relaxing. I've had a lot of fun doing this album and I hope to do many more for you all. Enjoy...

When I was making this one, I had this song off of a "Cafe' Del Mar" album (that I can't find till' this day) stuck in my head and nearly driving me insane in the process. Until I've got to my studio, I've looked all through my program for a guitar that could give me a simular sound, but I've found something else instead, I've searched all over for a drum loop that was simular to the song that was stuck in my head, and still nothing. And the same happened with the bass-line, brass, etc. Needless to say, this was not my day. But though-out this "pointless little journey", I've realized that I've came across a perfect chorus. And the rest was history...
